I am absolutely passionate about destroying the culture of shame around periods, hormones, and women’s bodies. And helping women just like you, discover the truth about your fierce, strong, powerful body and how aligning with your cycle is your superpower.

How My Journey Began,

Throughout the years, starting in my teens, I struggled with a seemingly unrelated list of symptoms. 

From painful periods, cramps, and PMS that would have me missing school and work, irregular periods that would be 10 days of bleed followed by a very short 10 days off, GI issues so bad I couldn’t eat anything but oatmeal for 9 months, stress and anxiety that left me feeling shameful, insomnia so bad I would be lying awake at night wishing I could just fall back to sleep, excessive and embracing sweating, low energy to the point of needing coffee every afternoon, chronic yeast infections and don’t forget low libido. 

It felt like I would get one symptom cleared up just for another to start. 

After numerous doctor appointments where I was told “You’re just a teenager and your body is going through a lot of changes right now, take birth control and it will all clear up.” or “You’re a new mom and you’re just stressed that’s why you’re in so much pain, stress less and it will go away.” 

Feeling discouraged and unheard, I started doing my own research and found all of my symptoms were pointing to one thing;

Hormonal Imbalance.

My body was trying to tell me something and I needed to listen.

Feeling frustrated I suffered from so many painful symptoms for 16 years and yet so excited to finally know what was going on with my body. I read everything I could get my hands on to learn more about why my hormones were so out of whack. I learned about the root causes of hormonal imbalance and started my journey to balance my hormones naturally. I got off of birth control and started really focusing on my nutrition, lifestyle, and what I was putting on and in my body. I started my yoga and meditation practice, listening to my body and aligning with my cycle. 

I finally made myself and my health a priority.  

And by doing this I slowly started to feel better.  I finally had the energy to pop out of bed in the morning and make it through the day. I actually look forward to my period now or Lunar Time as we call it my house, (which I NEVER thought would ever be possible for me) and use it as a time to rest and listen to my intuitive wisdom. My sleep has improved. My stress and anxiety are easily managed now and don’t feel so big and heavy anymore. And my digestive system is on-pointe. 

Through my spiritual practice of yoga and meditation, nurturing my body with real food, a healthy lifestyle, aligning with my cycle, and truly listening to my body and my own inner wisdom, I started experiencing real healing of the body, mind, and soul. 

My journey has made me passionate about helping women prioritize their health and find their flow by sharing the healing power of Yoga, Nutrition, and Cyclic Living. With this passion, I created the Fiercely Feminine Program where I teach women just like you the 5 steps to balance their hormones naturally and reclaim their health.
